Now is the time, more than ever, to spotlight and uplift the trans and enby community.

I have a really exciting announcement!

I've been busy over the past couple of days putting together a quick website to display a database I'm working on. It's not super fancy, and the database itself is accessible on an embedded spreadsheet for now, but I wanted to create a resource to make it easier to find trans and/or enby books by trans and/or enby authors that feature main characters sharing their identity.

There are databases out there for queer books and trans authors, as well as trans books, but I hadn't come across anything that was specifically narrowed down like this. I felt it was important to just go for it and create one, especially since trans rights have been under constant attack and transphobia is still widely socially acceptable everywhere. Now is the time, more than ever, to spotlight and uplift the trans and enby community.

The database is accepting submissions from authors, and the homepage has a featured spot for a 'book of the week.' Each week, a random book from the database will be featured to give a trans and/or enby author some much-needed spotlight.

I appreciate any attention on the project, even if you just share the link on social media. I hope this will grow and evolve, and I am searching for a better way to display the collected data.
